Hybrid Elephant report:
i’ve been somewhat more than usually busy the past couple of weeks. i got an order for two ardhanarisvara murtis (why two i will probably never know, but what the hell, right?), and an order for a narada sivalingam, which i had to send out for and which should be arriving tomorrow or tuesday, and another order for a whole bunch of different fragrances from sarathi, and an order for auroshikha cedar, and an order for a whole bunch (like six 80-stick boxes) of bharath darshan, which i have to send out for tomorrow. i’m also working with ezra on his “Bald Man” t-shirts, and i’ve got more html maintenance to do for chris. on top of everything else, i’m making 100 buttons for Drunk Puppet Night (which opens in portland in 3 weeks) if i could just be this busy all the time, i wouldn’t need to look for another job.

hahaha =D fair enough. but i hope you know i was just joking with that terminology.
while i know what you’re talking about generally, i think that the way not to attract people to buy stuff on my web site would be with “flashy bullshit” and “blah blah blah, etc.”…
maybe get some big flashy bullshit on there. people seem to like that. colorful images and borders, some flashing words and stuff. or try offering a little freebie in a blatant way, “free such and such with every blah blah blah”, etc.
there’s a huge market out there that i’m just beginning to realise is there… according to my web site statistics, i had almost 2,500 hits last week with no advertising and minimal search engine optimisation, which averages 350 a day… if i could just figure out some way to sell something to 1% of that market, i would have it made…
