also, i went by the location from which my signs in response to the jeezis signs have been regularly being removed this morning, on my way to home depot, and there were no signs posted, but when i came back from home depot, there were jeezis signs posted there… so i removed them. i must have missed them by no more than 30 minutes, because there were no signs when i was going, but there were when i was coming back… which means that the signs themselves were not there for more than 15 minutes or so… heh heh heh… 8)

the only problem is what time? i get the impression that spray-painting alley walls downtown is more or less illegal, whereas putting up “political” signs is somewhat less so, and that basically rules out any operation that takes place during daylight hours…
Please to bring stencil and spray paint to my downtown haunt. There are alley walls nearby which require it. 🙂

well, i made the stencil so that it is oriented portrait-wise because if it was oriented landscape-wise it would be too short and lack definition, but when it came time to reassemble it on it’s stake, if i had attached it to the stake oriented portrait-wise then it wouldn’t be essentially the same as the political signs that it is replacing (there were 5 other signs at that intersection before) and i wanted it to “blend in” as much as possible, without looking too odd.
now i realise that putting up a sign that has a sideways face isn’t exactly normal, and even a sign that was oriented the right way, but had that face on it would be a bit strange, but the fact that it’s sideways also means that i don’t have to drill new holes, and, while it “blends in”, it’s still really bizarre (moe sez it’s “creepy”), which is exactly what i was trying to achieve, so it all works out.
although i have seen “political” signs that are oriented portrait-wise, and i may make a few signs that are oriented that way, just to confuse people.
Haha sweet… but why is it sideways?
