i got an order for 2 ardhanarishvara murtis, but because of a mismatch in the html code for the web site, the person only paid $50, instead of the $64 that the web site says. of course the first thing i did when i realised it was to adjust the html code, but it’s too late for this order. i’m just going to eat the $14, and i’ve already made sure it won’t happen again… i guess this is a lesson i had to learn.

they were supposed to have an estimate ready on the car on friday, but it didn’t happen, so now they’re shooting for monday. the car is only worth $17k, and there’s approximately $13.5k worth of damage, but it’s close enough that they aren’t going to say whether they’re going to total it or fix it without some more hassle.

  1. i would love to get a hybrid, or an all electric car, but at this point i still don’t know whether the insurance company is going to total it or fix it… 8/

  2. at least it’s covered by insurance, maybe you can get one with less mileage on it to personalise and call your own? get something eco friendly this time, or don’t you have the grants in the US? and theres a question of mileage and refueling with respect to those cars.

you can get eco friendly cars in the EU for £14,000 sterling and claim £4,000 back afterwards from some EU eco division. Or at least you could last time i looked into it a year or so ago.

my last car was a 1.3l toyota corolla hatchback, from way back, 25mpg and i could have done with something that got 80mpg because of the cost of fuel over here!
