according to what ezra tells me, katharyn is back in the state loony bin, because she ran away from managed care facility a few weeks ago instead of taking her medications. she still won’t admit that she’s there involuntarily. she still thinks the state is persecuting her…
i’m so glad that i’m not a part of her life any longer…
whether or not she will recover will depend a great deal on whether or not she can admit that she’s suffered a psychic trauma, and although i know that she’s had a pretty severe psychic trauma before i met her, and i even have an inkling what it might have been, at this point, she’s still strongly in denial.
her recovery would be a good thing, if not for her own sanity thenfor our son, but at this point i’m still saying “look, see? this is exactly what i’ve been saying has been going on for 20 years, and nobody was listening to me!”
Though I don’t really know your relationship to K, I hope she recovers from whatever psychic trauma she’s suffering from.
I must admit that I’ve done the sneaky thing and have looked at all your photos before! 🙂

ezra is pronounced just like it’s spelled – /eh-zrah/ – it corresponds to “help” in hebrew, and it’s also the name of my 24-year-old son
I think that Ezra is one of the prettiest names in the world….
I have NO idea though, how it is pronounced as I’ve only ever read it…I remember the first time I ever saw it in writing though, from reading “dinner at the homesick restaurant” by Anne Tyler…and I fell completely in love with the man, Ezra…(yes, I do fall in love with characters from books…a lot I must admit…too often..hmm) who made up the concept of a restaurant that should be just like home.
