tomorrow is my 8th wedding anniversary, and i forgot, and scheduled a rehearsal for that day several weeks ago… now i’ve got to cancel the rehearsal at the last minute and think of some way to un-dissapoint moe, who had to remind me. 8P

    I’ve been with my partner for around 8 years as well, though sadly we live a few mile south of a state where we could actually get married in.

  2. During the years I was married I kept forgetting those dates…I am just not good at that sort of stuff, not everybody are.
    Also, I’ve never thought it to be all that important, but just because I don’t think so, doesn’t mean it’s not important for everybody else…
    Like christmas, easter etc…I mean just cuz I dont care much for the traditions doesn’t mean that my family doesn’t and they sure do…
    so much to learn in this life for sure

    I have no good things to say, so I just go on and on, do you notice?

  4. that is so cool! i hope you have lots of fun and take lots of pictures, and get somebody to take a few full-length shots of you so i can see you in your colors. =)

  5. that’s why i go to OCF… if i wasn’t performing, it would very likely be something that, if it were local, i would go for a day at most, but the fact that it’s out of state means that i probably wouldn’t go if it weren’t for the fact that i’m needed to play the popgun… 8) besides the fact that i’m performing means that i get access to things that people who go for a day, and even people who go for all 4 days, but aren’t selling something or performing, don’t get, like after hours access to the fair, paid meals, on site camping, the ritz… 8)

  6. i can’t wait either actually, i’m excited. people (adults) always get shirts but very few ever get pants as well. i love thinking of you in this outfit playing your horn. are you playing there?

  8. mmm salmon curry. yeah, that plus some lighter fare like fresh fruit to complement it, that would be super yum.

    in other news, your stuff is done and it’s utterly awesome. i can’t wait to see you in it. you’ll be the belle of the ball, or whatever the male version of that would be. i tried on the xl before dying it and realized that if you’re a bit bigger than me, this should be fine. it’ll be summer and it’ll be nice to have something light and loose, it won’t need to be form-fitting, it’s probably better this way. but yeah, ooh, so pretty. going out by priority in tomorrow’s mail. you should have the package by friday. monday would be the latest.

  9. neither of us cooks very much, but i like the idea of take out with extra special treats… there’s a thai restaurant that we used to order take out from when we lived in renton that makes salmon curry that is to die for…

  10. oh yay, i think a picnic is such a lovely idea. 🙂 if she cooks a lot, she might really appreciate take-out. unless she really loves to prepare food, then bring it to make there together. or maybe a bit of both? thai food to go plus extra treats you can prepare together/feed each other? yay, love. 🙂

  11. i think getting married is one of the most important decisions i have ever made, which is not indicated by the fact that i forgot, and had to be reminded… it really seems like we have only been married for 2 or 3 years.

    we’re going on a picnic tomorrow (i cancelled my rehearsal), i’m responsible for procuring food, and i don’t know whether to get thai food to go from a restaurant, or whether i should buy food to make once we get there, but i’m at a loss for ideas… clues would help… 8P
