That would be the gateway that we wish more people would take upon their discovery of Jesus of Nazareth, yes. What he has to say is great – I just wish mroe people would listen to it, rather than believing what the churchmen tell them he says.
however i really like the fact that the phrase “JESUS IS A GATEWAY DRUG” can be taken in completely the opposite way, as well. if you “Try Jesus” and discover, as i did, that what He actually said is valid, and spend the rest of your life a changed person because of it, then He can be a gateway in that sense as well: a “gateway” that is not the wide, straight one of “republicanism”, but the narrow, difficult gateway that leads to eternal life.

i had this revelation… i was driving down hwy 99, because today has the worst traffic i have ever seen – from bellevue to seattle, which is approximately five miles, the commute time was estimated at an hour and a half, and that’s just one freeway… we have 4 other freeways that were just as bad – so i was trying to avoid the freeway. and somewhere around redondo, there was this car that had a bumper sticker that said “Try Jesus”… and the phrase “JESUS IS A GATEWAY DRUG” lept to my mind without me even having to think about it… i had to make a bumper sticker out of it.
