video…

well, i’ve still got some details to work out – there are no visible transport controls, you have to right-click (or option-click) on the video to get it to stop playing – and i bit the bullet and bought some software to convert the video files to shockwave/flash in order to get them to stream and load in a reasonable amount of time. they’re here if you want to take a look. they’re kinda small, but they load a lot faster than yesterday…

  1. even open source folk might like to make some moneys. leave the branding on, it’s not hurting anything. or download the source code and jack around with it yourself.

  2. thanks, i’d already run across them in some other research i had done, and it looked intriguing… i’ll give it a shot. 8)

although, now that i’ve gotten into it a little further, it does appear that your “free and open source” evaluation was incorrect… i’m currently looking at a button that says “debrand” and a tool tip that informs me that if i click the button, i will be taken to a place where i can “Purchase a Commercial License to get rid of the Flowplayer trademark and use your own branding”… oh well…
