i have been a radical, left-wing hippie my entire life… even when i was a postulant to the priesthood. 😉 i was under the impression that, if enough people thought like i did, we could fundamentally change the direction this country has been headed, pretty much ever since i was old enough to pay attention… AT LEAST since nixon was running for office.

i never thought i would have to live in a fascist country. i thought that the concept of fascism was something that had been eliminated, conclusively, and even the thought of fascist rule in this part of the world was totally out of the question, until comparatively recently.
the probability that i am going to outlive the current fascist regime is slim to none. 😒
